I am horrified to hear of such a terrifying ordeal. I have been on depo for over three years and while I never had any negative responses (other than the typical 10 pound weight gain, etc.) I have now made the decision to stop the shots. Can anyone else send their stories to me (good and bad) so I have an idea what to expect? I would ask my doctor, but I am in the military and well, I'm sure you've heard the expression "you get what you pay for." These "well trained" doctors neglected to tell me that females considered high risk for breast cancer shouldn't take the shot (my mom was diagnosed at 29 and died three years ago). Anyway now I'm rambling, but I'd really like to hear what you all have to say.
